👋 Hello to our new newsletter readers! I’m Christine Farrier Rosemin, Founder of TechWalk and Head of Partner Marketing at Rho, the fintech banking platform for scaling businesses. I would love your support with four things:

  • Work on the relaunch of our TechWalk website is rapidly progressing! But we’ve run into a few speed bumps with Wix. For a bunch of reasons, we need to stick with Wix for the time being.   • Keep the nominations coming! We are looking for July and August TechWalk guest speakers for our events in NYC, Brooklyn, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Bangalore, and Jersey City.   • We’ve got a Machine Learning / Data Analytics Expert-in-Residence starting with TechWalk in August. They will be taking on pro-bono projects (max 120 hours) that could cover real-life initiatives for your startup, like:

    • Social Media Sentiment Analysis Dashboard Create a real-time dashboard that scrapes social media data, performs sentiment analysis, and visualizes trends.

    • E-commerce Analytics Platform Build a comprehensive analytics system that tracks user behavior, processes transaction data, and generates business intelligence reports.

    • Document Intelligence System Build an AI system that can extract, summarize, and answer questions from legal contracts, research papers, or financial reports using transformer models and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)

The other day, I noticed a familiar anxiety creeping in, triggered by the constant drumbeat of doom-filled conversations about AI and its impact on workers of every kind: the young, the older, the underrepresented, middle managers, white-collar professionals… no one seems spared in these narratives.

I’ve learned that my anxiety often stems from a lack of understanding, so instead of spiraling, I’m choosing to lean in. That means moving away from clickbait headlines and toward more grounded, opportunity-focused conversations. I’m starting with resources like the 2025 Future Tech Trends Report by Amy Webb (Futurist, Founder, Author, Speaker) and her team at the Future Strategy Today Group, over 1,000 pages of research, analysis, and forecasting that offers perspective beyond panic.

It got me thinking, how is the TechWalk community processing these shifts? Instead of letting the anxiety simmer, let’s learn from each other.
