Weekly Poll

On Monday, November 11, schools are closed in NYC are closed for Veteran’s Day and we are experimenting with a new event - “Bring Your HS Student to TechWalk Day”. This idea was brought to us by Daniel Allen, an NYC TechWalk regular attendee. He shared “On their days off from school, if I don’t provide my kids with a fun alternative, they will spend the day playing video games or on their phones. I thought bringing them along to a TechWalk would be a great way for them to get introduced to the basics of networking without it feeling too overwhelming. Also, as college approaches, I’m excited for them to ask questions about tech-related professions in a welcoming environment”. Thanks for the idea Daniel!
