👋 Hello to our new newsletter readers! I’m Cynthia Widjaja - learning and development professional, data science nerd, digital marketing enthusiast, TechWalk Silicon Valley Chapter community member, and newsletter editor. I’d love your help with a few things:
Last week Gylianne Tyndall and Rodayna Hamouda led the first Brooklyn TechWalk in over 6 months! The theme was BioTech, and the crowd was energized. But Gylianne and Rodayna are only in Brooklyn for a good time, not a long time, before they launch TechWalk Queens (check out the first walk here). So if you are interested in taking walks, meeting new people, and building hundreds of new relationships and LinkedIn connections in tech, give us a shout by replying to this email! Otherwise, our last Brooklyn TechWalk will be on 4/25. Register here, just in case it ends up being a farewell walk!

TechWalk Founder, Christine Farrier Rosemin, is visiting Houston next month to attend the Institute of Internal Auditors 2026 Conference with her client AXIA Partners, a compliance and financial consulting firm. Who should she talk to about hosting a TechWalk pop-up while she’s in Houston? Connect with her HERE and maybe also get an invitation to an Audit and AI happy hour that is in the works (yes the words audit and happy hour go together.
Speaking of Accounting - Vishal Thakar, Senior Director, Alliances at CPA.com is looking for a Partnerships Manager. Despite what’s written in the job description, this is an in-office role in NYC. If you or someone you know would be a good fit, connect with Vishal apply for the role here. Pro-tip: Vishal’s going to get a lot of requests for time “to learn more about the role” instead of going this route, stand-out by telling him why you think you would be a good fit. If he agrees, he’ll reach out!
Update: Operation Rising Tide

Last week we officially put out the call. The experts answered. Too many to fit into one image!
In the past 7 days since the launch of Operation Rising Tide, the expert applications have outpaced founder submissions 2 to 1. Which raises a genuine question: founders, are you okay? Too busy solving everyone else's problems to submit yours? We can help with that.
Here’s what the expert pool looks like right now:
Can't get your positioning to land? We have someone who has defined messaging frameworks for products from seed stage to $100M ARR.
Building with AI and need technical direction? We have ML and AI practitioners who can assess your architecture and help you prioritize what to build next.
Product is live but growth isn't moving? We have operators who specialize in exactly that gap between activation and retention.
Validated the concept and now need to convert it into revenue? We have people who've done that in B2B, B2C, and everything in between.
Experts, it isn't too late either. We have founders working on AI-powered products, consumer apps, and mission-driven businesses who need exactly the kind of experience you’ve accumulated over the course of your career. If you haven't applied, there's still time.
Applications close March 15th. If this is you, or someone you know, we'd love for you to share this with them. The right match might be one forwarded email away.
How Jennifer Aniston’s LolaVie brand grew sales 40% with CTV ads

For its first CTV campaign, Jennifer Aniston’s DTC haircare brand LolaVie had a few non-negotiables. The campaign had to be simple. It had to demonstrate measurable impact. And it had to be full-funnel.
LolaVie used Roku Ads Manager to test and optimize creatives — reaching millions of potential customers at all stages of their purchase journeys. Roku Ads Manager helped the brand convey LolaVie’s playful voice while helping drive omnichannel sales across both ecommerce and retail touchpoints.
The campaign included an Action Ad overlay that let viewers shop directly from their TVs by clicking OK on their Roku remote. This guided them to the website to buy LolaVie products.
Discover how Roku Ads Manager helped LolaVie drive big sales and customer growth with self-serve TV ads.
The DTC beauty category is crowded. To break through, Jennifer Aniston’s brand LolaVie, worked with Roku Ads Manager to easily set up, test, and optimize CTV ad creatives. The campaign helped drive a big lift in sales and customer growth, helping LolaVie break through in the crowded beauty category.
