TechWalk Giveaways
If today IS your birthday, cheers to you! I hope you pass the rest of the day with lots of love, celebration, and everything that makes you happy. For the rest of us, let’s make today special with two TechWalk giveaways. On Linkedin, I recently shared the announcement of a new course “Think Like a Writer”, created by my friend Chris Gillespie and his team at Fenwick Media. This course is designed to help content writers get so good they can charge more, and marketers to get more from their writers and even become their own writer.
The idea is simple: Writing is thinking. And the best way to begin or accelerate your writing journey is to learn to think like a writer. This course will teach you three questions great writers continuously ask themselves, which lead to uncommon clarity. Immensely valuable, right? And while reasonably priced at $325, we don’t want the cost to prevent access for someone who would truly benefit from participating. So we will cover the cost of the course tuition for one member of the TechWalk community. Eligibility is pretty simple:
Connect with Chris Gillespie on Linkedin
Follow Fenwick for future announcements on Think Like a Writer and other writing and content-related gems that they regularly post on their company page
Watch the Think Like a Writer announcement post and drop a note to [email protected] letting us know why the course would be helpful to you by Tuesday 3/26 PM at 10:00 PM EST
The recipient will be announced on 3/27 via the TechWalk LinkedIn page
If this course sounds exactly like something you need and you can’t wait for our giveaway, TechWalk community members get a $25 discount when they use the code TECHWALK25
Keep reading to learn about our second giveaway for an upcoming event (4/12) “Are you Career Ready?” featuring speakers from TikTok, Netflix, Unilever, Microsoft, Meta, JPMorganChase, and many more.
TechWalk Announcements
Look up from your laptop. Cherry Blossom season has arrived. The Central Park Conservancy has created a handy dandy Cherry Blossom Tracker to offer real-time monitoring of the blooms. Be sure to register for upcoming TechWalks as we will slightly adjust our normal routes to include a sweep past one of the most decadent displays of beauty the park has to offer. Keep reading about the Co-Hosts who will be joining us on this week’s Cherry Blossom tour.

Amanda Bendrey, Growth & Client Success Leader; GTM Advisor, TechWalk - “Talk to me about B2B marketing for tech and SaaS brands. I've led strategic initiatives spanning demand generation, field, partner, ABM, and performance marketing for brands like LinkedIn, Salesforce, and PayPal. I can chat to you about what it’s like to work for an agency/marketing consultancy, or how to make your agency partnership more successful. I’ve also built and scaled Customer Success organizations internationally, previously growing EMEA & APAC teams based out of London. If you are interested in moving abroad, I’m happy to share my experience in moving across the pond (and back!).”
Devin Beresid, Public Relations, Hokku PR - “I’m looking forward to discussing being a woman in the crypto/tech PR space, being in crypto having known nothing about it just a few years ago and having been a first-generation college and now a graduate student/navigating all of this on my own.”
Jackson Wirekoh, PhD, CEO, Every Voice - “I like to chat about technology and its intersection with politics. AI, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Grid Edge technology and IoT.”
