⚡ Hi from TechWalk: Real talk, there's a lot going on

...anyone else looking forward to this week's walk?

Super quick updates for today, juggling deadlines on deadlines on deadlines. Maybe your week has started off the same? So if you read nothing else in this newsletter - focus on these three action items:

  • Our TechWalk Ambassador Program is launching on April 1st and you have until March 8th to apply. One of our candidates said it best when we asked why she was interested in the program - “This feels like a tech networking hack and I’m here for it!” Application

  • Jackson Wirekoh has launched Every Voice, a civil advocacy app and is looking for engineering talent with experience in Python, Tableau/LookerStudio, BigQuery, and development on GCP. As well as any experience with training and deploying LLM's through Vertex AI. Please reach out to Jackson directly if this sounds interesting.

  • This week’s TechWalk features a superstar roster of Co-Hosts and we hope you will join us.

    • Danny Groner, Director of Growth, Forecast Labs would be a great person to connect with re: startups, PR and crafting all your talents and experiences into a compelling narrative

    • Max Bailey, Associate Director, Customer Marketing, Frontify is your go-to to chat about lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, music, climbing, running and skateboarding

    • And last but certainly not least, Kait LeDonne, Personal Branding Expert and Keynote speaker is getting ready to kickoff a Brand Launch training that will cover crafting, positioning and monetizing your unique genius. I bet she could give you a sneak peek into the program specifics during your TechWalk chat

And if you have the time, we invite you to keep reading!

Here are a few profiles we had in mind while creating the program:

  • Recent college graduates

  • Transplants to NYC

  • Early pivots to a tech career

  • Folks between roles, seeking their next opportunity

  • People hoping to transition to a new functional area in tech

  • Anybody wanting to improve their networking skills

If this sounds like you or someone you know, applications will be open until March 8th!
