This week we are proud to welcome our TechWalk Ambassadors as our last but certainly not least, Co-Hosts for May. Our Ambassadors have provided invaluable support to the TechWalk community by attending weekly walks, helping to facilitate conversations, getting the word out via social media posts and facilitating important partnership connections. And this week, we get to celebrate them! They will be chatting about their experience as Ambassadors, so if you or someone you know would be a good fit for the program, please let them know.

Let’s meet our Co-Hosts:

  • Ruben Guardado, Equity Research, formerly with Evercore - I joined the TechWalk Ambassador Program to support my ambition to enter the field of venture capital, aiming to engage with transformational companies at the intersection of technology and societal progress. I’m fascinated by the rapid evolution of AI and generative AI technologies. TechWalk offers a unique platform to deepen my involvement in the tech community, expand my network, and directly engage with potential founders and tech innovators.

  • Vansh Bataviya, Incoming Software Engineer Intern, Capital One - “Hi! I'm Vansh Bataviya, a Computer Science student at Hunter College. Fueled by a passion for innovation and driven by a commitment to excellence, my journey in computer science has equipped me with a diverse skill set, and I'm eager to contribute my skills and creativity to the tech landscape.”

  • Stephanie Denis, Physical Therapist Assistant, formerly with Rehab Alternatives - A preview of what we'll discuss with her:

    • Therapeutic exercises and how technology is increasingly integrated into rehabilitation and healthcare

    • How innovative tech solutions can enhance patient care and improve outcomes

    • Women's health, particularly concerning marginalized groups and maternity

Volunteer with TechWalk for NY TechWeek

We’re hosting an event for NY TechWeek! You could attend five networking events this Spring / Summer or you could volunteer at one and probably achieve the same impact. How? The volunteers at our special events interact deeply with TechWalk community members by leading smaller cohorts of participants, facilitating engagement, answering questions and ensuring folks enjoy their TechWalk experience. Plus we showcase all of our volunteers and yeah, you’ll be kinda TechWalk famous. So if you are free on Monday morning June 3rd at 8:00 and would like to supercharge your connections and spark a few new meaningful relationships - sign up to volunteer with us!

NY TechWeek Announcement

It’s happening! Our NY TechWeek TechWalk is on the official calendar.

Our April FINTech Week event attracted close to 300 registrants and a walk that bordered on a march! I guess we were protesting stale networking events?

We’re working hard to finalize all of our headliners, but in the meantime, please meet our anchor Co-Hosts. Connect and let them know you are looking forward to chatting with them on the walk.
