Looking for a new role? Hiring for a new role? Let’s make this a December to remember! In a recent poll, newsletter subscribers overwhelmingly voted to feature hiring managers and their open roles in this newsletter. We’re going one step further. We’re hosting a series of events to bring together the TechWalk community in a new and exciting format that connects the companies looking for talent and the professionals on the hunt for their next challenge. Take a look at the options below and please register early. Space will be limited. Here’s the full lineup so far:
12/12 Talent TechWalk [NYC] that will bring together Co-Hosts, hiring managers, and tech talent, actively (or curiously) seeking their next role. Max capacity 1000 registrations (we’ve done it before for TechWeek and I think we will do it again)
12/15 Talent TechWalk Breakfast Summit [NYC] think panel discussions, roundtables, and 1:1 conversations connecting the folks who are actively growing and leading tech in NYC. Limited to 150 attendees.
12/16 Talent TechWalk Virtual Showcase for the folks who can’t make it to an in-person event but want to hear directly from hiring managers and talent acquisition specialists. Max capacity 2000 registrations.
🎁 to our newsletter subscribers and potential sponsors. We’ve activated code NEWSLETTER to provide 6 companies with 50% off their sponsorship fee, along with some goodies for early-stage founders. Visit the links to learn more!
WhatsApp Business Calls, Now in Synthflow
Billions of customers already use WhatsApp to reach businesses they trust. But here’s the gap: 65% still prefer voice for urgent issues, while 40% of calls go unanswered — costing $100–$200 in lost revenue each time. That’s trust and revenue walking out the door.
With Synthflow, Voice AI Agents can now answer WhatsApp calls directly, combining support, booking, routing, and follow-ups in one conversation.
It’s not just answering calls — it’s protecting revenue and trust where your customers already are.
One channel, zero missed calls.
Featured Partnership

Crystal Method, TechWalk’s official social media agency, is offering free social media audits specifically for founders and early-stage startups looking to start or scale their social media strategies. They’ve got six sessions left for TechWalk newsletter subscribers. Simply reply to this email and we’ll put you in touch with the team.
Notes from Christine
Hi, I’m Christine Farrier Rosemin, founder of TechWalk and until very recently, the Head of Partner Marketing at Rho. That’s right. I got laid off. As the founder of a professional networking community, you might guess I’ve got a lot of thoughts on this topic! And you would be right. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing how I’m managing this layoff. Please come along for the ride and if this sparks some thoughts of your own, I’d love to hear them.
A 20-Point Layoff Plan (Part 2)
I’m visiting museums #funemployment - admittedly, my marketing mojo could use a refresher so I’m taking advantage of this opportunity to immerse myself in NYC’s free and low cost admission opportunities for residents. Check out the full list of options here.
I’m doing boring things in beautiful places - Finally and officially updating my married name everywhere (Delta SkyMiles I’m coming for ya), getting my RealID, converting everything to paperless, dealing with all the annoying administrative tasks of life that never seem to come off the to-do list. All at the most beautiful coffee shops in NYC to make these tasks less tedious and increasing the possibility of rewarding myself with a lil’ sweet treat
Spending more time with family - timing couldn’t be better.
Have some other suggestions or thoughts on what I’ve come up with so far? Let me know - [email protected]. Otherwise see you next week with Part 3.
